In the local paper I saw there was a water tower for sale with planning permission for it to be converted into a house, offers around £100,000.
I called and had a quick look and then one day I was round a friends house telling him how I was going to go back with a ladder and he said he had a ladder so we set off.
View from the top of the tower where the planned living area is going to be.
Looking towards the rugby pith. To the right and behind the Rugby field next to the car park is the old ROC post for earls Barton, paid a visit but it is not in very good condition. The hatch is completely missing now.
The hatch to the water tank at first glance looked locked but one of the hasps was broken.
The view from the top was great Wellingborough and Kettering in the background.
Another view from the top.
